Woodworking Machine Training

Introductory training sessions with an experienced professional woodworker on our major woodworking machines. Gain the knowledge and confidence to use the machines safely and effectively. Each session is limited to just 2 participants – making this a near Private Tuition session, to give you the best learning experienced on these machines.

Each session covers;

• Safe machine operation,
• Practical woodworking techniques,
• Machine setup,
• Guidance on best practices.

Available Sessions:

• Wood Lathe (3 hours) – €54 members, €60 non members
• Table Saw (1.5 hours) – €26 club members, €32 non members
• Band Saw (1.5 hours) – €26 club members, €32 non members
• Planer/Thicknesser (1 hour) – €18 Club Members, €24 non members
• All sessions include safety instruction and hands-on practice under supervision.

When: Once you book, we will contact you to arrange a date and time that suits you – these will be weekend dates/time.

Where: All sessions will be held at our workshop located at Galway Hooker Sailing Club Workshop, H91 NFH6
