Our Vision
Galway Hooker Sailing Club is a diverse community of members, sailors and craftspeople who work together to build and sail the great Galway Hooker boats and by doing so preserve the great Irish heritage of these boats for all Galway and Ireland alike.

What We've Achieved
Setup Galway Hooker 2020 as an official community group - non-for-profit.
Restoration & launch of the the Loveen & Lovely Anne.
Designed & rolled out numerous Hooker Skills Courses for adults since 2018.
Enrolled over 100 volunteers.
Provided practical training & experience to a core group of new crew members, recruited from our training programmes. 120 people fully trained and now crew members.
Engaged with many local community, state & private organisations to start fund-raising and raising awareness.
Set up Galway Hooker Sailing Club.
Built a dedicated website & strong social media presence.
